“Bliss” Wallpaper Image in Windows

Bliss, a bitmap image produced from a photograph of a landscape in Napa County, California, is so called because it includes gently slopping green hills and complemented by clouds in a blue sky. The image is a default computer wallpaper included with Microsoft Windows XP. The photo was taken for a digital design company which in turn acted as an inspiration for a huge advertising campaign for Microsoft Windows. Since then, it has undergone several changes in its appearance. It may be the most viewed and used wallpaper. The scene with its mixture of colors brings a feeling of peace and is pleasing to the eye.

Using Microsoft Paint can help you to create a Desktop wallpaper. Just a few click of your mouse will give a new look to your desktop:

1. From the start button, click programs, then accessories and select ‘paint’.
2. The general tools under this will help you draw and add text to your work.
3. After creating your wallpaper, go to file menu and set as wallpaper, either centered or tiled orientation.
4. Then from the file menu, click save and if you wish to modify it, you can go back and do so.

Any JPEG or GIF image you have saved can also be customized and used as your desktop wallpaper.

Free Golden Gate Wallpaper Download

One of a free wallpaper download shows the Golden Gate Bridge in its arresting splendor. The Bridge being part of US Highway 101 and California Route 1, links the city of San Francisco from the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County. It has the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was finished in 1937 and when its name is mentioned it is directly associated with San Francisco. However it has since been surpassed by eight other bridges. The color of the bridge, orange vermillion, balances well with its natural surroundings and can also be seen even when it is covered in fog.
