When picking wallpaper, always make sure that as much as possible, you are choosing the ones that match your desktop resolution or is higher than your desktop resolution. This ensures that your wallpaper does not become grainy and the image does not distort as well. Although to make sure, you need to look at your current desktop resolution as bigger and wider images may shrink and distort for a smaller display.
