Improving the Looks of Your Folder Background

A simple way of giving the file folders some color is by adding a wallpaper background. This background could also help you to easily identify and distinguish folder windows specially if you have backup folders on a detachable or network drive with titles matching the originals found on your hard drive. To add texts to your background choose the command Start-Programs-Accessories-Paint. Generate/insert an image with a size almost the same as the file pane; uncheck Image-Draw Opaque and use the Paint’s text tool to write your note on the picture. Save the image as a bitmap, GIF or Jpeg file. To apply it to a folder select View-Customize This Folder then click Next and Browse to choose the image from your hard drive.
